From 2013-2015 I was involved in a number of community art projects. These involved designing and organizing community murals working in various teams and organizations. Two of these murals were in the Bayers Westwood community in Fairview, Halifax working for the 4Cs foundation, a community arts foundation. One of these murals involved the painting of a street, where I combined community ideas to create the design with another artist. I created a similar compilation for the Halifax art boat. Additionally, I facilitated a community art piece with Mad Students Society members for Toronto’s Mad Pride about what accessible spaces would look like to them. As well, I facilitating many spaces of community connection and self efficacy through art, including weekly art workshops with several non-profit organizations.
